Brew

Before any other development community existed in the mobile space, the Brew platform became a pioneer in the application marketplace. Already operating in more than 25 countries and generating over $2 billion in developer earnings, Brew has proven its success for over eight years. Originally developed as a game marketplace for developers, the platform has quickly transformed into much more. In 2008 the Brew application environment gave way to the Brew Mobile Platform (Brew MP), which supports a broad range of low-cost mobile devices.

Our Experience

Now a robust platform, Brew allows application developers to develop mass market applications beyond the gaming vertical. With APIs, such as iPosDet, Brew enabled developers to gain access to new features and location based services, previously unavailable on any platform. Although, this capability has now proliferated out to a multitude of advanced devices, we easily forget that Brew was one of the first platforms with location capabilities for feature phones on various operators. With this type of data access, it is no mystery why application developers and operators continue to choose this stable legacy platform.
